OpenAI & Content Partnerships
In the last few months OpenAI has struck a number of licensing partnerships with major publishers. The quid pro quo of those deals is for OpenAI to get access to the source of data the publishers own in exchange for a fee. When the formula of licensing between OpenAI and the publishers hasn't worked, OpenAI has been brought to court. That is the case of NYTimes, among others.
PwC's US and UK firms have entered into a reseller agreement with OpenAI, making PwC the first reseller for ChatGPT Enterprise and the largest user of the product.
PwC is actively engaging with its top clients to explore GenAI solutions, having identified over 3,000 internal use cases for AI. This engagement spans across various industries including financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, and hospitality.
The deal builds on PwC’s previous $1 billion, three-year investment in AI, reinforcing their commitment to AI innovation, upskilling, and delivering enhanced client services with a focus on responsible AI use.
This partnership with PwC as a go-to-market partner is a primer for OpenAI.
